Every PETRO token minted requires the exact equivalent weight of physical gold to be deposited and registered in our LBMA-certified partner vaults. We utilize a Dual-Proof mechanism: Proof of Reserve via Chainlink oracles verifies the token supply against the custodian API, and Proof of Value leverages physical IoT sensors (RFID/Weight metrics) to ensure physical tampering alerts are broadcast on-chain instantly.
While PETRO is an excellent store of value, gold prices fluctuate against local fiat currencies, making it suboptimal for everyday pricing. GCASH is our over-collateralized stablecoin minted by locking PETRO. It provides users with spendable liquidity without triggering taxable events or losing exposure to gold's upside. It isolates purchasing power stability from the core asset layer.
The PetroGold OS captures value through minting fees, swap fees in the OGLE pool, and institutional gold lending yields. A governance-determined percentage of these revenues flows into the Prosperity Fund. Users who complete our privacy-preserving ZK-ID verification (proving human uniqueness without revealing personal data) are eligible to claim continuous streams from this fund, redistributing wealth generation globally.
