Quantum Metal core business is providing 99.99% premium gold products to the Malaysian market including, government bodies, banks, financial institutions, merchants and individual dealer. Quantum Metal initiates the linkup between local banks and International Bullion Supplier, including, PERTH MINT. Quantum Metal business model reduces risk of local banks with local banks having direct transactions and legal transaction through Quantum Metal. As Quantum Metal customer, local bank is free of capital expenditure for the project as 100% of system and infrastructure will be invested by Quantum Metal Sdn. Bhd. Our return of investment is through revenue sharing model with local bank. YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) Mazlan bin Lazim has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairman of Quantum Metal Sdn Bhd effective 16th May 2023.

As a member Of Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Chairman Of PBLT Sdn Bhd (Ministry Of Finance Incorporated (MKD), he is also a highly respected law enforcement professional and leader with extensive experience in Malaysia national and federal police force. He served and dedicated himself to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for 35 years.

YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) started his basic police training as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police at the Police Training Centre (PULAPOL) in Kuala Lumpur in 1986. During his service with the PDRM, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) has held various leadership positions in different states throughout Malaysia, including Director of Logistics and Technology Department at Bukit Aman (Sept 2020-Jun 2021), Kuala Lumpur Police Chief (Oct 2017-Sept 2020), Kelantan Police Chief (July 2016-Jan 2017), and so on.

He was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Police of Malaysia from June 2021 until December 2021 before his mandatory retirement.

Director

Tuan Haji Jamal Mohamed Bin SMA Mydin serves as Senior Advisor at WISE (World Integrated Supply Ecosystem Sdn Bhd) and an experienced businessman in the food and technology industry, with more than 25 years of experience. He holds a General Degree in Business from the university.

Tuan Haji Jamal holds several positions at Pen Corp Berhad, including Independent Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee, and a member of both the Nomination and Compensation Committees.

In addition, he served as Deputy Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director at Prime Utilities Bhd since December 2005.

- DATO' SERI HAJI HASSAN BIN HAJI AHMAD

Syariah Committee Chairman

Dato’ Seri Haji Hassan bin Haji Ahmad has been appointed as the Chairman of the Shariah Committee, Quantum Metal Sdn Bhd effective 1st June 2023.

He has made significant contributions to the education sector, serving as a lecturer at the Faculty of Shariah and Law, Yayasan Pengajian Tinggi Islam (YPTIK) Nilam Puri, Kelantan from July 1977 to March 1981. He then worked as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Shariah, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, from April 1981 to August 1997. During his service at the University of Malaya, he was appointed as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Shariah from 1990 to 1991, before becoming the Dean of the Faculty from 1991 to 1992.

He is a former mufti in Malaysia who has achieved noteworthy accomplishments and made significant contributions. He served as the Mufti of Penang from 1997 to 2014. During his tenure as a mufti, he also served as a Member of the Penang Islamic Religious Council (1997-2014), a Member of the Shariah Advisory Council for Bank Negara Malaysia (1997-2016), Islamic Banking Maybank (1993-2004), Securities Commission (1998-2010), and KFCH (MPS)(1999). He was also appointed as a Member of the Advisory Committee on Hajj Rituals of the Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims Fund Board (2000-2004).

He has published four books and scriptures, including:

Methods and Regulations of Islamic Pawn Broking, published by the Penang State Mufti Department, 2002.

He has been awarded the following honorary titles:

Paduka Mahkota Perak (P.M.P.) 1995.
Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (D.S.P.N.) of Penang State, with the title Dato', 1999.
Panglima Jasa Negara (P.J.N.) 2008.
Darjah Gemilang Pangkuan Negeri (D.G.P.N.) with the title Dato' Seri, 2011.
Recipient of the Maulidur Rasul National Award from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 1433H/2012M.
Tokoh Anugerah Tokoh Ma'al Hijrah of Penang State in 1436H/2014M.
